Denim on Denim

The Texas Tuxedo (also known as a Canadian Tuxedo, but I am partial to Texas because that is where my mom is from) cycles its way in and very far out of style, luckily it is IN (in all caps) this spring.  Like all cyclical trends the key to success is taste and fit.  If something is done tastefully it never goes out of style.  Denim on denim can be tricky and if done incorrectly can get a lot of judgmental stares, but when done right it is absolute perfection!  The trick? Making sure the denims do NOT match!  Go with two different shades and you are set for success.  This is also a gender neutral trend so to all my male readers out there, jump on this band wagon!

the beanie is a winter necessity! i love this one because of its sparkles of gold, which makes it a bit more feminine.

Nude

Nude, creams, and neutrals can now be worn year round adding a much needed lightness to your fall and winder wardrobe!  This palette is so wonderful because it truly allows you to take your ensemble in any direction allowing the focus to be on the accessories, the details of the clothes or most importantly you.  Scroll for subtle sophistication and show stopping splendor.

Light fall look successfully achieved by mixing nude and white. I also love the wide leg trouser and the embellished collar.

The piping elevates the dress, which is already perfect for any occasion and would look fabulous with thick tights as it starts to get chilly.

Peplum, nude, sequins, need I say more

Another successful white and nude combination. The gold clutch also adds a subtle splash of excitement.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley smartly pairs nude high waisted trousers with a daring mint top.

Karolina Kurkova is an absolute show stopper in this Rachel Zoe design at the Met Gala.

Candice Swanepoel looks incredible in this full camel skirt (full skirts are also a must for fall)
