Holiday Gift Guide (Day 1)

The Holiday Season has arrived! It is finally December and I can (without judgment) start celebrating, decorating, present shopping and wrapping.  It truly is the most wonderful time of the year! So to make things a little more wonderful for you guys and with the help of some uber fabulous bloggers, fashionistas, chefs & DC stars I present you with Garden of Glam’s Second Annual Holiday Gift Guide.  Each day Garden of Glam will host a different contributor who will share their wish list and give list with me (and you) in an attempt to inspire and ease your holiday shopping.  So sit back and relax and let Garden of Glam act as your compass as you navigate your way through this holiday season.

To start off the Holiday Gift Guide I turned to the lovely Carlis Sanchez.  Carlis is half of the dynamic duo that makes up Spicy Candy.  Spicy Candy is absolutely one of my favorite blogs that is endlessly inspiring.  I am beyond obsessed with Carlis’ wish & give lists, which is not surprising because Carlis has an impeccable, adventurous and eclectic sense of style.  She is a girl after my own heart, not to mention she is the best brunch date.

Multi Tool.  Having a multi tool is great especially if you are stranded somewhere, you never know when you might need this.

Branch Earphone Splitter.  I have this gift in mind for my twin sister because people like to listen to what she has on her mp3 player.  This way she can share.

Um yes please!  This has been added to my wish list!  Just this weekend, my boyfriend and I had to share a set of head phones on the train to NY, which was fine but obviously the sound quality was degraded.  These are a perfect stocking stuffer and great for anyone in your life!  Also, check out these super cute headphones that are also on Tony’s give list.

Studded Leather Biker Blazer by Warehouse.  I have my heart set on a new leather jacket so I’m hoping to unwrap this super soft Biker Blazer on Christmas Day; studs and leather together are my perfect combo and my fail-safe for any event this season.

I completely agree with Samantha, you can’t go wrong with leather and studs, they are the ultimate combination!  This would be perfect for a sister, cousin or girlfriend…absolutely to die for!

Faux Fur Slipper Boots by Warehouse.  I am also in need of a new pair of slippers so these are perfect to snuggle up and get cosy in on winter evenings.

Black Embellished Bodice Dress by Warehouse.  I plan on treating my sister to this dress.  I LOVE buying presents and when working so closely with amazing products my family and friends get very excited this time of year-I do tend to get carried away though.

YMC Navajo Umbrella.  Given the poor weather that we’ve been experiencing in the UK this year this is at the top of my wish list.  Like our AW12 collection, London Undercover has Britishness at its core and has returned the umbrella to its rightful position as a fashion accessory.

An umbrella is such a great an unexpected gift! It is incredibly practical and thoughtful and perfect for both genders.  I never want to spend much on umbrellas so always end up with the cheapo ones that turn inside out with the slightest breeze.  A well made umbrella is necessary, but isn’t something people typically buy for themselves.  Check out this purse friendly vibrant umbrella! Great for a friend, roommate, significant other, parent, sibling, in law, aunt, uncle….anyone!

Classic Ascot, Sturhling Original Men’s Watch.  The watch is very simple. I’ve bought a Sturhling watch in the past and what I love about them is they look pricey and stylish, but are still very affordable. The one I have has had no issues so far. 
This watch is fantastic & the style is in its simplicity!  This would be a perfect gift for a sibling, father, uncle, boyfriend (or girlfriend….I love wearing men’s watches), in law or good friend.  You can’t go wrong with a well made stylish watch.

Anchor Leather Belt by Vineyard Vines.  This belt has been on my list for some time now.  It’s the perfect way to be preppy yet a bit edgy. Everyone has a logo on their belt buckles these days. Its either the Hermes H, LV Louis or a Ferragamo buckle. Why not switch it up w/ an anchor? Plus the cognac leather is one of my favorites.
Such a cool take on the classic brown leather belt.  It is interesting and different, yet classic enough that it could be worn with anything!  This would be a great gift for a brother, father, boyfriend, uncle, or in law.

Link Up, Bucket of Golf Ball Cufflinks.   The cufflinks are the perfect gift for you dad or uncle who’s an avid Golf player.  The perfect accessory to put on his shirt when going to work w/out being too flashy.

This Sweater is perfect for the chilly weather.  The color will match pretty much anything in your closet, and its from ASOS, meaning it’s slim cut, which is perfect for me.

I am obsessed with this sweater!  I spend most of my fall and winter in search of the perfect cozy sweater and Dzifa found it!  This sweater is a great gift for anyone and everyone, father, brother, cousin, friend, uncle, boyfriend, girlfriend, sister….the list is endless.

Emily Shuman’s new release: Cupcakes & Cashmere (the book).  While Emily is a favorite fashion blogger of mine, she’s also super crafty & creative in the kitchen. Her latest book shares great secrets for entertaining, amazingly glam fashion advice & the pictures are absolutely stunning. Blogger or not, I highly recommend this chic coffee table book for your girlfriends this holiday season.
