G.L.A.M. Charity Fashion Event

I have been a horrible blogger recently, neglecting Garden of Glam, and slacking on creating new posts.  I do hope you will forgive me or at least allow me to explain.  I am the Director of Operations for G.L.A.M. (Giving Labels a Meaning).  G.L.A.M. combines a love of fashion with the desire to help children in need.  So through pop-up shops and exclusive fashion events, Meaghan (G.L.A.M.’s founder & creator of District Sparkle) and I raise money for local child advocacy groups.  And right now we are in the thick of planning the G.L.A.M. Summer Fashion Event on June 20th from 6:30-9 at 906 H St., NE that will benefit Safe Shores D.C.  Safe Shores D.C. is an incredible organization that is dedicated to protecting children that have been exposed to abuse, trauma, & violence.  And 100% of the proceeds from the event will be donated directly to Safe Shores D.C.

The G.L.A.M. Fashion Event will feature pop up shops from local boutiques and designers such as Bishop Boutique, Turquoise and Drabo Gallery an amazing raffle, open bar, and DJ MIM will be bumping beats all night while fellow bloggers Keri, Rachel, Erin, and Simone model in the fashion presentation.

So needless to say I have been a bit busier than usual and I do hope you will forgive me for (momentarily) putting Garden of Glam in the backseat.

Again, in case you missed the important details the G.L.A.M. Fashion Event is June 20th from 6:30-9:00 at 906 H St., NE.  Get your tickets HERE for the reasonable price of $10 for GA and $30 for VIP (which comes with our fabulous swag bags).  Again, get your tickets HERE!

I hope you will join me (on June 20th) in supporting local boutiques & designers in a fight against child abuse!
